Harry Ambers Christmas 2013

I know, he looks a lot different but that's because my art is evolving and by evolving I don't mean Pokemon. Art evolution is rather gradual in the sense that you aren't immediately born with your current skill. You get it through practice and practice makes perfect. It took me a while for it to sink in and a lot longer to start drawing. I started drawing for real when I was 16 while my friends started in their diapers and my skill is nowhere near their level but that's okay because you shouldn't compare your art to others even though you do it anyway because you're insecure about your own skill level and how it doesn't match up to your more talented friends but it's okay because your friends are super self conscious about their art too. It's an endless circle of artists feeling like their art isn't as good as the person sitting next to them. It does feel a little bad though that I started so late but I guess better late than never. I'm in a really good mood right now which was why I was able to finish this in the first place because I have never felt good about my art but now I feel good and now I feel good about my art but this saddens me because the second I go home I'm going to be sad again and my art will suffer from this so I just need to find a way in order to feel better but that's a whole other story lol.
